How to Invest in a Challenging Market

Even in this economic downturn, people continue to buy goods -- especially if they are on sale. So, why have market investments dried up? Do people think there’s still more to lose before we hit bottom? Are we really on the cusp of an upswing? Is there any historical precedence for what’s happening now? Are there answers in history?

Bottom line: What’s the smart money doing?

Get all the answers to your investment questions at the next Silicon Valley Chapter meeting of WITI scheduled for May 9, 2002 and hosted by Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Hear what advice Christine Gehring, Phoenix Investment Partners’ Senior Vice President and Investment Consultant, has to give.
