Amy Serwinowski
Network Director

Amy has over 20 years of experience developing software in a variety of industries, including: Aerospace, Defense, Finance and Telecommunications, as well as holding a joint Software Patent for jet engine design. She is currently an embedded software engineer at SiriusXM Radio and is also the South Florida Network Director of Women In Technology International. WITI is a global trade organization based out of San Jose, CA, and was founded to help women advance their technology careers.

Kelly Boyle
Strategic Alliance Chair

Kelly A. Boyle, CRPC®, ADPA SM is a Financial Advisor and Business Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. Kelly has 7 years experience as a financial advisor, and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Florida.

As her latest entrepreneurial venture, Kelly purchased her practice and her own franchise of Ameriprise Financial in February 2012, focusing on creating customized and flexible portfolios and financial plans, tailored to each client's goals and objectives. Her practice specializes in working with entrepreneurs, women business owners, and technology executives and professionals.

Kelly also has a technical background. Prior to joining Ameriprise Financial in 2005, she was a Database Developer for the Florida Museum of Natural History as well as President of NK Productions, Inc., a web-programming company based in Gainesville, FL.

Kelly is passionate about educating and empowering women business owners, executives and technology professionals. She is the Strategic Alliance Chair for the South Florida Chapter of Women in Technology International, and is a member and volunteer of ITWomen. Kelly has implemented financial education programs at numerous technology corporations and organizations over the years. She has also made several contributions through Women Referring Women, a unique women's networking group in South Florida focused on developing referral relationships. As President and Founder, Kelly has helped hundreds of business women grow their businesses, as well as provide an environment for them to learn best business practices from their peers and other prominent professionals in the community.

Patricia Ojeda
Planning Committee Chair

Patricia is passionate about the IT industry and business process expert, with an extensive record of increasing productivity, systems efficiency, and profit margins through the implementation of advanced technological solutions and methodologies. She is adept at managing all aspects of information technology, including business needs assessment, SDLC, sourcing, services and systems implementation. I am known by the identification of opportunities, analyzing operations, and the development of winning solutions.Business knowledge of multiple industries including IT Services, Banking, Business Services, and NGO.

Yvette LaMar
Palm Beach Program Chair

Yvette LaMar is the North American Marketing manager for IBM's Server and Technology Group. A graduate of University of Southern California, with a BS in MIS, and Masters in Marketing from Regis University. Yvette has over 20 years in the technology industry with technical and marketing experience in hardware, software, and services.

Beverly Provost
Broward Program Chair

As a Financial Advisor with Evershore Financial Group, Beverly Provost brings quality care into her line of work, where she helps people make the informed financial decisions in order to help reach their life goals. She focuses her practice on helping individuals and small businesses prepare for their futures with financial planning and implementation of retirement solutions, education funding, investments, and insurance. Before becoming a financial advisor, Beverly spent over 18 years in the IT industry. Her Information Technology experience includes Management Consulting with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Director of Software Development for Daleen Technologies, and Executive Vice President of IT for Gambro Healthcare.

Angelica Gomez
Miami Program Chair

Angelica is a technology innovator with a deep understanding of uplifting technology strategy, business improvement processes, project management, and enterprise governance processes. Currently serving as VP and CIO at Regis HR group for over 8 years. She helps create a culture of innovation across the company and oversees strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, the integration of new business and the cultivation of technical talent.

As a veteran leader with over 15 years of experience in the Technology Industry, Angelica has extensive knowledge of Cloud computing - IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, System integrations & compliance and the incubation of new technologies. Prior to Regis HR she has consulted and worked for mid & large scale enterprises such as UPS, Aspect Software, Pacific National Bank and others. She started her career as a developer building CRM, customer portals, logistics, transportation compliance and banking software applications and platforms.

Karen Chestnut
Social Media Chair

Karen is a high energy Marketing Executive expert in building world-class revenue pipelines for strategic marketing, global business development and accelerated revenue growth. Over the past 20 years, her enterprise software career has spanned the gamut of diverse Fortune 500 to mid-size corporations including SAP Americas, Highroads, Iron Mountain and Autodesk.

She is passionate about using technology as an enabler to help bridge the gap between marketing and sales to help drive customer engagement, brand loyalty, and grow sales revenue. Her areas of expertise include: B2B Marketing, business development, digital marketing, sales enablement and is a noted social media maven.

Originally from Pittsburgh, she is a graduate of Duquesne University's AJ Palumbo School of Business and still a long time raving Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Karen is a pay-it-forward champion and passionate about making a difference in the local community to support non-profits, charities and partnerships for economic development in south Florida. She is an active member and to contributor to the SFTA, WITI, SFIMA, ITPalooza and TEDx Boca Raton.

Felicia Alvaro

Felicia Alvaro joined Ultimate Software in 1998 as Vice President of Finance. Ultimate Software is a leading provider of unified human capital management (HCM) software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for global businesses. Ultimate Software is headquartered in Weston, Florida (with offices in Atlanta, Georgia and Newport Beach, California) and has over 1,200 employees throughout the United States and Canada. Felicia has over 24 years experience in financial management. At Ultimate Software, Felicia oversees financial planning, financial analyses, financial reporting, financial compliance (SOX), business operations analyses, accounting policies and procedures, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and technical accounting. Prior to joining Ultimate Software, Felicia served in a number of financial positions with several companies, including Director of Finance for over 6 years at Pueblo Xtra International (a grocery store chain headquartered in South Florida, with operations in Puerto Rico, and over 8,000 employees at the time) and Supervising Senior Accountant for over 3 years at KPMG in Miami (audit practice). Felicia is a Certified Public Accountant. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she graduated at the top of her graduating class. Felicia is a member of the FICPA and AICPA.

Michelle Bazargan
Advisory Board

Michelle Bazargan is a Director of Technology Services, at JM Family Enterprises, an automotive company. Michelle joined JM Family in 2001 as part of the Technology Operations team and was promoted to Project Director responsible for systems replacement and implementation initiatives. In addition, Michelle has held other positions at JM Family including Director of Technology Planning and Director of Client Advocacy for the Portfolio Management Offices (PMOs). Michelle holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University. She is also PMP certified and also holds other numerous technical and management certifications. Michelle has a strong passion and commitment for leadership, building effective teams and promoting and driving innovation. Michelle is an avid athlete and participates in triathlons, adventure races, 100 mile century rides, and marathons to raise money for charitable organizations such as United Way, Big Brothers & Sisters, and American Red Cross. Michelle resides in Delray Beach.

Sara Rushinek
Advisory Board

Sara Rushinek is a Professor in Computer Information Systems and Health Informatics for the University of Miami. She is also a Professor in the Masters in Clinical Translation Science - Translational Research Program for the University's School of Medicine. She is a reviewer for the National Science Foundation and is on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Business Intelligence and Systems. Dr. Rushinek specializes in Expert and Business Intelligence Systems, Mobi (Mobile) -MOOC Massive Online Open Course, eLearning & Web Site Mobile Web SEO App Development, Computer Litigation Support, Health Informatics IT, Internet Security and Technologies, and Web Development. Dr. Rushinek is a frequent speaker at academic, business, health, and technology conferences. She earned her undergraduate degree from Tel Aviv University and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Alva Bullard
Advisory Board

Alva is an expert at building and leading smart, independent, and enthusiastic technical teams. Before ascending the management ranks, Alva worked as a software developer on complex production and database application in roles at Birch Radio/Scarborough and Precision Response Corporation. Currently, she is the CIO for Experian Simmons. At a time when resources are scarce and demands are high, Alva is able to provide the vision and strategy as well as inspire enthusiasm in her staff to deliver upon commitments in an on-time, high quality fashion. Recently, her team launched a web-based analytics tool for mining Simmons large database of custom research and syndicated data. In recognition of that effort, she along with core team members received Experian's 2010 Product Launch of the Year Award - Marketing Services Division. Additionally, Alva's team and individual members consistently receive company-wide Spirit Awards for their contributions to product ideas, solutions and services. Alva continues to build strategies that increase performance of both her face-to-face and virtual teams. A highly respected senior team member, she is a frequently sought after contributor for providing insights on leveraging IT assets to meet company goals and business needs.

Personally, Alva is pursuing a PhD in Information Systems. Prior education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Spelman College (Atlanta, GA) and a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from St. Thomas University (Miami, FL). Alva also manages a hectic family life that includes her husband and two middle school-age kids.

Stephanie Lone

Stephanie provides strategic leadership to the technological and business advancements of the enterprise data and business systems for Shared Services teams used by more than 30 mobile and online websites owned and operated by CBS Interactive as well as additional affiliate internet properties across CBS Broadcasting. These CBS Interactive business units, include CNET, CBS Sports, ZDNet, CBS.com, CBS News.com among others. It is Stephanie who oversees the central Data Warehouse system and administration of the central Microstrategy BI & Reporting toolset,the internal Ad Serving system & services surrounding ad serving as well as the central registration, billing, email and alerting systems as well among other duties. She received her BA from North Carolina State University and has been with CBS since 1997.
