What is a Girl Geek Happy Hour?

It is an excellent opportunity for like-minded professionals to get together and discuss in an informal environment about the latest technology and science trends. Drinking, cat eye glasses and throwing around css terms are not required, but are appreciated.

How do I know if I qualify to be a girl geek?

Don’t worry about qualifying yourself. If you think you’re a girl geek, you probably are. Come on down and see for yourself. The whole point is to meet new people.

What’s the point, really?

Look, we’re girls. We’re social. We can like motherboards and MAC. We need to remind each other that we’re out there, mentor each other and encourage girls to fly their geek flag proudly.
