Michael K. Connolly founded Business and Technology Strategies in line with a successful 25-year career in worldwide business development, BC/DR consulting and services, and the delivery of managed Information Technology (IT) services and solutions. Mr. Connolly has introduced emerging and existing technologies to major corporations on every continent while holding senior level positions with a number of key technology organizations including SunGard Availability Services, Qwest Communications, Exodus Communications, Wang Laboratories, Conner Software Products, and Archive Corporation. Mr. Connolly maintains high levels of expertise and knowledge in BC/DR standards and practices including a professional industry certification as a Certified Continuity Manager (CCM) from the National Institute for Business Continuity Management (NIBCM) as well as being a regular guest speaker at industry events including Chapters of the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), FBI Security Seminars, trade show events, and various storage / security user groups. Mr. Connolly’s education includes a Masters of Business Administration in Technology and a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Arizona as well as a Diploma in Business Continuity Planning from the Institute for Business Continuity Training.
