WITI and Wells Fargo, are hosting an evening reception with WITI's Twin Cities Network., to build professional relationships, network, and deepen our presence in external diverse communities. The local audience will be comprised of WITI Minneapolis members; others in attendance will include Wells Fargo’s Business managers, Talent Acquisition leaders, and members of our Team Member Networks. The event format will consist of Networking, Welcome and Opening remarks, moderated Panel discussion, followed by closing with additional time to network.

Judy Carmen, SVP, Technology Area Sr. Manager at Wells Fargo

Results-driven professional with over 25 years of effective leadership experience in Human Resource Technology, with a focus on collaboration and direct communications. An organized and efficient leader, exceptional team player with the ability to collaborate, strategize, and implement effective solutions that are consistent with corporate vision and goals.

Jody Hanson, Head of Quality Control Governance at Wells Fargo

Jody J. Hanson is currently the Head of Quality Control Governance in the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, which was established in 2016 to care for our customers and support their financial success by providing consistent, timely, and effective remediation when they have been impacted by Wells Fargo. Jody currently leads a Tollgate team that credibly challenges high-risk remediation's and a Quality Control team as well as other functions.

Previous responsibilities include creation and stand-up of the Project Management Office in Mortgage Collections as well as stand up of the Change Control process in Mortgage Default. Prior to that, Jody centralized a funding process within Wells Fargo Financial taking the proof of income and preparation process from 1,000+ stores located around the country to one location in Minnesota. While in Wells Fargo Financial, Jody also led a Six Sigma Lean project to improve a quality process taking the quality control accuracy rate from 62% to 99.0%. Key attributes under Jody's leadership include development of high performing teams, centralization, standardization and control of enterprise wide processes as well as process improvement activities and finally a strong Risk Management foundation balancing quality, cost and time.

Additional Leadership assignments include serving as executive sponsor to The Women's Team Member Network in Minnesota and most recently served as Co-Chair for the 2018 Community Support Campaign in Minnesota. Jody also has passion for diversity and inclusion, and the development of others. Jody is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt with specialization in Lean Six Sigma and received her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through Project Management Institute. Jody has a Bachelor's Degree in Interpersonal Communications and Business Administration from Eastern Washington University.

Amy Fries, Technology Manager at Wells Fargo

Amy Fries is an HRIT professional with 20+ years of progressive HRIT experience and spent several years prior to that in finance. She is currently the HRIT Technology Manager for Development Strategy and Standards at Wells Fargo.

Amy thrives in an environment where she helps provide framework that allows others to be efficient, self-supporting and successful. One of her personal themes, that brings smiles to many, is “making a plan to create the plan” as she's learned that planning is necessary in order to create a comprehensive plan. Much like the mystery novels she likes to read, Amy is fascinated by the intrigue that is presented at the beginning of an effort and helping to figure out the path to delivery. When away from work, Amy enjoys spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren and extended family.

Jose Blanco, Technology Manager at Wells Fargo

Jose Blanco, servers as the Vice President of Information Technology at Wells Fargo Wholesale Inventory Financing. Jose has over 20 years of successful development and delivery of technology strategies under complex matrix organizations aimed at shaping and realizing disruptive innovative business value propositions, increasing companies' competitiveness, and significantly increasing market share. Jose has expertise in business-technology strategy development and implementation, enterprise and business architecture, scaled agile application portfolio management skills, and deep technical knowledge, significantly increasing firms' competitiveness.

In his current role, Jose is increasing his application portfolio from $10B to $40B in 2 years' time, by strategically aligning, consolidating and retiring deprecated technologies hence contributing to the overall Wells Fargo Wholesale application rationalization strategy. Prior to this role, he served as a Chief Architect and Strategy Leader for GE Capital, and introduced several disruptive digital transformative technologies including Big Data, Predictive Analytics, and Descriptive Geospatial Analytics. José holds Master's degree in Computer Sciences and a Master's degree in Business Administration.
