FORGED - Fostering Opportunities, Resilience, Growth, Empowerment and Development is a new Women
The F.O.R.G.E.D. Leadership Community for Women is a weekly session occurring every Friday morning at 9:00 am PT. F.O.R.G.E.D. stands for Fostering Opportunities, Resilience, Growth, Empowerment, and Development. This is a powerful opportunity for connection that affords a curated and safe space for women leaders in technology to come together to openly discuss current issues, challenges, and successes they face in their professional lives. The F.O.R.G.E.D. community offers a unique problem consultancy model, allowing participants to seek feedback and input from their peers.
These Friday sessions serve as a sacred space for women leaders to connect on contemporary topics and to discuss various leadership issues specific to their respective paths in the tech industry. The emphasis is on fostering a supportive environment, encouraging open dialogue, and providing a platform for women to empower each other. It's a valuable opportunity for female leaders to share experiences, gain insights, and navigate the complexities of the technology sector together.

Dr. Kathleen Hartman Shiverdecker has served in senior organizational leadership positions for the past 25 years in various educational and human resource roles in both public and private contexts. Kathleen and the teams she has had the privilege of supporting have designed equity-focused data utilization, recruitment, interview, selection, and performance management systems that have led to the identification of hundreds of highly qualified and diverse candidates in multi-faceted roles.
Kathleen served as a cohort facilitator for aspiring leaders at Denver University in the Morgridge College of Education’s Ritchie Executive Leaders for Successful Schools program for 10 years. Kathleen is a trained Fierce Conversations facilitator, Grief Recovery Method facilitator, and a professional photographer. She completed her doctoral degree in 2021 at Northcentral University in the field of Organizational Design. Kathleen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education, English, and French at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at the University of Phoenix in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
