CMP & WITI launch MEDIA PARTNERSHIP
CMP Media LLC one of the giants in technology publishing, co-founded by a woman, and a publisher that "gets it" when it comes to women, has entered into a media partnership with WITI and licensed the right to publish the quarterly WITI Fast Track Magazine.

Fast Track will be sent to more than 90,000 female technology professionals who are readers of InformationWeek, Optimize, and Network Computing, CMP's leadership IT Publications, with bonus distribution at WITI and CMP conferences, as well as the largest IT exhibitions -- Networld+Interop, TechXNY, and Comdex. Further, the supplement will be posted on witi.com and CMP's Techweb web site for IT professionals.

"We're proud to have this relationship with WITI," said Joseph Braue, CMP Publishing Director. "We'll be working with WITI to improve the look, feel, content, sales, and marketing of the supplement," he said. "But even more importantly, we look forward to working with WITI on additional opportunities such as co-marketing, new product development, research, and other projects targeted at serving the needs of professional women in technology."

WITI WOMEN GET CERTIFIED AT THE METRO WATER DISTRICT
In a standing room only meeting, Bobbie Becker held a spellbound group of close to 100 WITI small business owners at the Winning Government Contracts meeting hosted by WITI and the Southern California Metro Water District meeting on December 12th.

This was a productive and inspiring meeting! - Bobbie talked about how she transformed the Southern California Metro District from a closed door, old boys system to an environment which now welcomes small businesses to apply for any one of the millions of dollars worth of contracts waiting to be awarded.

To demonstrate her commitment to WITI business owners, Bobbie brought in the project managers to tell us what they needed, spent the time walking us through the process of how to work with them, passed out certification applications, brought in a Notary Public and certified any business owner interested and willing to stay the extra hour for the process.
