"If you look at history, innovation doesn’t come just from giving people
incentives; it comes from creating environments where their ideas can

Female AI Artists to Take Notice Of
3 Women in AI Fashion You Want to Know
People everywhere are born with the urge to create art in many forms, so it’s no surprise that with the rise of interest in AI has come a new wave of art. AI artists use artificial intelligence programs to produce art, creating everything from landscapes to fashion concepts.
@Annatarian on Instagram uses AI to create AI Fashion, mixing 20 years of eco-couture experience with artificial intelligence. Annatarian’s most recent AI fashion collection called “MagicalMysteryCore” has made it to the TOP 10 for AI Fashion Week, with the chance to win and have the collection produced and sold through https://www.revolve.com/.
Annatarian had the following to say about her art:
“Before focusing on eco-couture, I began my career as a designer in the fashion industry, but I quickly grew dissatisfied with the unhealthy and unsustainable practices I encountered. So, I decided to make a change and started creating unique, handcrafted eco-couture dresses that combined sustainable materials and high fashion. These pieces remain at the heart of my artistic journey. Now, I also design with AI, tapping into its incredible creative potential to further enhance sustainable fashion. By exploring resource optimization, innovative materials, and efficient supply chains with AI, I'm blending sustainability and style to contribute to a more responsible and fashionable future.” One of Annatarian’s pieces can be seen above.
Irina Raicu, PhD, is a noteworthy creator of both AI art, fashion and is building AI-based products at Microsoft as Senior Product Manager. Raicu’s focus is on her art and information can be found at wwww.irinaraicu.com. When asked about her art Irina said the following:
“My art focuses on the critical issue of climate change and its devastating effects on our planet, using surrealism to create a powerful and poignant message. My goal is to inspire people to take action and protect the environment for a sustainable future. I am convinced that Artificial Intelligence marks a new era of creativity, where data is the new paintbrush. AI offers endless possibilities and encourages artists to rethink their approach to creating art. This results in a fascinating collaboration between human creativity and technological innovation, where the artist's consciousness guides the machine's output. The result is always a unique creation, born from human creativity.
By repurposing old denim into new and innovative pieces, my focus is not only to reduce waste and to help the environment, but also creating fashion-forward looks that are both functional and chic. Generative AI will exert a profound influence on the fashion industry, and one of its most significant benefits lies in the ability to conduct preliminary testing of fashion designs with the audience prior to mass production. This feature presents a valuable opportunity to gauge customer preferences and refine designs accordingly, ultimately leading to more informed and effective decision-making in the realm of fashion production.” Two of Irina’s pieces can be seen below.
Lady Phe is another artist focused on the intersection of art and AI. She is the founder and chief curator of YESUNIVERSE, a network of virtual museums in the Metaverse. Lady Phe describes herself as a “universe builder and leading voice for contemporary digital art and culture providing an essential platform for the art and artists of our time.” Her art can be found on Instagram @yesladypheonix.
