WITI Portland is pleased to host a special networking social and wine tasting event at Square Deal Wine. Come mingle with Portland-area professionals who are passionate about technology and sip a glass of wine made by small, unique wineries.

We'll also hear a brief talk from Square Deal Wine about its winemaking philosophy and some tasting tips. Bring a sweater or light jacket -- all the wines at Square Deal are housed in a 58 degree environment, optimal conditions for wine.

About Our Speaker(s)

Square Deal was founded to introduce Portland, Oregon to wines produced by families who we call "Les vrais" -- winemakers and viticulturalists who make every effort to make wines that are genuinely representative of their land, their grapes and the vintage at hand.

The wineries it represents are small, generally under 5000 cases. First and formemost they are farmers. Most, if not all, employ organic and sustainable viticultural practices, yet none emphatically display this fact on their bottles. It's just what comes naturally.
