Bio of Kathleen Robinson, Vice President, Lee Hecht Harrison:

Kathleen is a Vice President and the Director of Professional Services in the San Diego office of Lee Hecht Harrison. She brings extensive career management and organizational development experience to her work with executives. Kathleen has consulted with individuals and organizations in a wide range of industries including high technology, manufacturing, and business service firms.

Kathleen's special focus is executive coaching and development. Her strength is in the integration of her counseling background and skill in the assessment process with her business knowledge and experience. She blends an in-depth understanding of interpersonal issues with a practical application to business needs and goals.

Prior to joining Lee Hecht Harrison, she spent over twenty years in leadership development, organizational consulting and management roles in entrepreneurial companies and non-profit organizations. She has had responsibilities in training, customer service, account management, and sales.

Kathleen has a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master's of Social Work degree, and is a licensed counselor. She has completed numerous certification and training programs in individual and organizational assessment instruments. She is a member of Professional Coach & Mentors Association, Society for Human Resource Management and American Society for Training & Development. Kathleen is a guest speaker on career and organizational issues at various professional organizations.

Bio of Fred Dawn, Vice President, Lee Hecht Harrison:

As a Vice President in Lee Hecht Harrison’s San Diego office, Fred serves primarily in a consulting capacity. He works with a wide variety of individual candidates, with a particular emphasis on senior executives, providing counseling and guidance in their career transition. Fred’s broad business background, including personally experiencing a “downsizing,” allows him to relate exceptionally well to clients at all levels. He was an executive in the banking industry where he served in such capacities as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Credit Officer prior to transitioning into the career management field. In these assignments, he served on the bank’s executive leadership committee with specific responsibility for management of a multi office branch system, leading all marketing activities and the hiring and career development of numerous key officers. He has a total of ten years of experience in the outplacement industry including nine with LHH. Fred holds a B.A. degree from Drake University. Fred is active in the business community including San Diego Venture Group, MIT Forum, and the Corporate Directors Forum. Additionally, he has been selected to serve on several Harvard Business School panels focused on career management and the transition process.

Jennifer Colwell is a Senior Account Manager in the Information Technology practice of Eastridge InfoTech in San Diego. Her extensive background has been in selling IT consulting, contract, and direct hire staffing services.
Prior to Eastridge, Jennifer served as Branch Manager for RHI Consulting in San Diego. She managed a $10M practice, which provided IT and Senior Finance and Accounting professionals on a consulting basis to “C” level executives.
Jennifer consults with her clients on defining their hiring objectives and understanding their technology initiatives. She provides insight to her clients as to what the market is bearing when it comes to technology and salary trends. Then provides the highest caliber of talent to her customers to meet those staffing objectives. Jennifer provides career management and counseling on an on-going basis. Jennifer obtained a BA in Sociology and has a Marketing Minor from the University of Cincinnati.
