Join host Dave Whelan (connected health consultant, advisor, and entrepreneur, who helped launch perhaps the first consumer fitness wearable on the market [before they were called wearables]) and special guest Dr.Mitra Hooshmand (UC Irvine-trained neuroscientist, former competitive swimmer, founder of Mixx Yoga, and founder and CEO of ScientiFIT) for a lively, interactive discussion on wearables: What are they? How will they change our lives? Do they live up to the hype? And should you buy one before the [fill in the blank] from Apple or Facebook launches?

Following the introduction, the WITI Wearables Holiday Bazaar(#WITIwearables) will open! You'll have a chance to meet some local wearables (and wearable-related) companies, ask their founders the really tough questions, try out their products, and maybe even go home with a cutting-edge technology product just in time for the holiday season.
