About Our Speaker(s)

Carol Fawcett, Executive Director for Dell M&A and Chief Information Officer, Dell Software Group. With over three decades of serving in information technology leadership roles, Fawcett is responsible for aligning the Dell Software’s global strategy and business needs with appropriate process and technologies as well as providing leadership to all IT M&A activities across Dell. Fawcett holds a bachelor's degree in management information systems with a minor in computer science.

Sanjay Kucheria, entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years of experience including strategy, general management, and business operations. He serves as the CEO of Trinus Corporation, an IT Professional Services firm that specializes in business intelligence, data management, and financial performance management solutions. Sanjay has also served in a variety of roles including Chair of the Internet & Technology network for the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO-WPO), USC Viterbi School of Engineering’s Department of Computer Science Advisory Board, President of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and board member of Society of Information Management (SIM). He is a co-Founder of the USC India Alumni Association, member of Pacific Council on International Policy and TiE charter member.

Heather Lord, strategy and innovation director at American Funds, part of the Capital Group Companies. She has 11 yrs of industry experience and joined Capital Group this year. Prior to joining Capital, Heather worked as a Principal at Boston Consulting Group. Before that, she was a senior vice president, strategy and client experience at Charles Schwab. She holds a PhD in applied statistics and Psychology from Yale University, and a bachelor's degree from Cornell University. Heather is based in Los Angeles.

Carla Fitzgerald is a long-time veteran of the technology industry, with extensive experience in B2B software for enterprises and the telecom sector. As Chief Marketing Officer at Smith Micro Software, she is responsible for corporate and product marketing, technical publications, business development, and public relations. Carla has developed market-leading brands, thought-leadership initiatives, and successful demand generation programs for a variety of public and private companies, such as: Bitfone, WebVisible, LogicalApps, Quest Software, Octave Software and CA. She holds a B.A. degree in Economics and Computer Studies from Claremont McKenna College, and sits on the Board of Advisors for the UC Irvine Marketing Extension program and the Southern California Business Marketing Association (SoCal BMA).

Moderator: Vicki Shillington, Chief Happiness Officer at Beachbody Technology. With over 20 years of experience working closely with Executive teams, Vicki has successfully implemented significant improvements to the effectiveness of organizations. She has deep expertise in organization strategy and design, job analysis and design, competency model design, learning paths and career pathway design. She is often asked to help organizations design and implement their talent management strategy.
