At the Stanford Executive Program, we are committed to our mission statement "Change Lives. Change Organizations. Change the World." Business results demand business diversity of ideas and skills, and this year we are making a focused effort to invite more women to participation in our Stanford Executive Program (SEP).
Established over 60 years ago and held once a year, SEP is a six-week executive program taught by over 30 faculty members of Stanford's Graduate School of Business. The program attracts seasoned executives from around the world for a transformational experience. The typical participant in the Stanford Executive Program has at least 12 to 15 years of management experience and strategic responsibilities at the company- or country-wide level and has set aggressive professional goals for the years ahead.

This year, we are planning a number of exciting opportunities for our participants to engage with other women executives:
- A course on our changing workforce: including a discussion on gender diversity
- High profile women guest speakers: like Condoleezza Rice and Meg Whitman
- A women's networking event: giving current participants a chance to engage with alumnae of SEP
SEP is designed to meet the demands of executives’ professional and personal life. With personal concierge services; weekday and weekend exercise options; delicious, nutritious, and local food options at every meal, as well as assistance planning programs and activities for visiting family members, SEP is designed around the "whole you" to make your time on campus as worry-free and productive as possible.
