Jane Barr

Jane is an iPEC certified Leadership Coach, Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner, professional speaker, and author of the book, "WISEWOMAN LEADERSHIP".

In addition to her coaching credentials, Barr also has more than 30 years' experience as a Management Consultant, leading technology projects for the national retail industry including: Body Central, Circle K, CVS, Crowley's Dept. Stores, Eckerd Drug, GAP, Jo-Ann Fabric, Lo-Jack, Longs Drug Stores, Luxottica Group, Raley's, REI, SAAN, Stuarts Department Stores, Vera Bradley, and Wolf Camera.

Jane knows what it takes to deliver projects on time and on budget, to build strong teams and to generate business worth millions of dollars. Her ability to lead teams of business and technical consultants and promote client communications led her to successfully develop corporate wide reengineering strategies for business process and information systems and to have oversight responsibility for implementation projects valued at upwards of $100 million with teams of more than 150 people.

In addition for more than 20 years Jane has been involved in training, facilitating and coaching teams of technical consultants and engineers, both in the area of software product training and in soft skills such as proposal delivery, practice development for technical teams, and teambuilding. Her consulting teams consistently generated additional software and consulting contracts for as much as $25 million per project. She has also been a national presenter on behalf of retail merchandise vendors such as Vera Bradley.

Jane is active in community outreach as an active member and Corporate Alliance Chair for WITI/Tampa Bay (Women in Technology International) promoting the growth of women in the technology sector. During her tenure as a board member, local participation grew from 25 to more than 300 active participants.

Currently, she participates in the development of emerging leaders by providing coaching to MBA students at the University of Tampa. Jane is also on the leadership team for her local church.

Jane has an A.A. in Theatre Arts from Stephens College and a B.A. in Communications from the University of Denver. In addition she is certified as an instructor/coach for: Dale Carnegie Leadership and Communications; High Power Presentations; Relationship Savvy, and Perfect Customers.

When not coaching, Jane enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, reading, yoga, music and theatre, and the occasional white water rafting trip and sky diving adventure.

As a sought-after global speaker and connector, Julie is well networked to the national community of top business, academic, nonprofit, & government leaders. Sara Rushinek is a Professor in Computer Information Systems and Health Informatics for the University of Miami. She is also a Professor in the Masters in Clinical Translation Science - Translational Research Program for the University's School of Medicine. She is a reviewer for the National Science Foundation and is on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Business Intelligence and Systems. Dr. Rushinek specializes in Expert and Business Intelligence Systems, Mobi (Mobile) -MOOC Massive Online Open Course, eLearning & Web Site Mobile Web SEO App Development, Computer Litigation Support, Health Informatics IT, Internet Security and Technologies, and Web Development. Dr. Rushinek is a frequent speaker at academic, business, health, and technology conferences. She earned her undergraduate degree from Tel Aviv University and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
