Ingrid Van den Hoogen, Vice President, Brand Experience and Community Marketing, Sun Microsystems
Ingrid drives Sun's brand and identity programs and oversees the company's communities and online presence, including sun.com and java.com. With Java.com, her group is rapidly building an entirely new, consumer oriented touchpoint for Sun.

Ingrid first joined Sun in 1987 in sales developing demos for the visitor center, moved on to product marketing for graphics and eventually our first big servers. Over the years, Ingrid has developed and executed marketing initiatives, worked to introduce Jini with the former Consumer and Embedded group and as part of the CTO organization was core to the team that created JXTA.

has also held software development positions at Megatek, United Technologies, and GTE Government Systems. She holds a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from San Jose State University.


Paige Arnof-Fenn
CEO and founder
of Mavens & Moguls, an innovative marketing strategy consulting firm, has taken the concept of marketing as a business to a new level.

Formerly, Paige was vice president of marketing at Zipcar. Paige was responsible for branding, corporate communications and corporate partnerships for the business and was instrumental in the fundraising efforts for this early stage company. Previously, she was vice president of marketing at Inc.com, responsible for promoting the company to business and media and for driving E-commerce sales before the company was sold to a division of Bertelsmann. Prior to that she held the title of senior vice president of marketing and was a key member of the IPO team at Launch Media, an Internet start-up that went public in early 1999 and was later sold to Yahoo. She built the marketing organization from the ground up, overseeing marketing, advertising, corporate communications, market research and promotion as well as their in-house ad agency/art department.

Paige is serving a 3-year term on both the Stanford University and Harvard Business School Alumni Boards and is currently an advisor to several early stage companies and non profit organizations. Paige holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Paige is also a monthly columnist for Entrepreneur.

Janet Kraus
CEO and Co-founder,
drives the vision and strategy of Circles. Her strong understanding of the value of loyalty and relationship marketing has made Circles a leading provider of concierge and personal assistance services and has guided Circles through an 100% increase in revenue over the last two years.

Prior to co-founding Circles in 1997, Janet served as Director of Values & Vision for The Body Shop and was responsible for the social strategy and marketing initiatives that differentiated The Body Shop from other cosmetic competitors. Previously, Janet held positions in finance at the Bank of Boston in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and as a management consultant at Temple Barker & Sloane (now Mercer Management Consulting). At TBS, Janet was part of the Information Technology Practice where she developed her interest in building new business models through the application of new technologies and knowledge management systems. While receiving an MBA at Stanford's Graduate School of Business, Janet 's knack for entrepreneurship became evident as she spearheaded the financing and building of the first multi-media center with access to the Internet. Janet received her B.A. from Yale University.

Janet is a frequent contributor to Benefits & Compensation Solutions Magazine, a publication of InterMedia Solutions. Janet was a finalist for the 2003 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and was recognized as one of Boston Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40. Circles received the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award for 2003.

Jennifer Florin
CEO,
founded Experience in 1996 with the mission to connect employers with the most sought-after talent from the nation’s top universities and graduate schools. Experience now supports more than 500 universities, 100,000 employers and 3 million students and alumni.

Jennifer has presented at numerous industry events, including EMA 2004, MIT Enterprise Forum’s Spring Workshop, Springboard Forum, Kennedy’s eRecruiting Conference, Forbes Executive Women’s Summit and numerous regional ACE meetings (Association of Colleges & Employers). At these events, Jennifer often discusses market trends and leads industry debates on reaching out to young professionals.

She has been recognized as one of the nation’s youngest business leaders and achievers by numerous organizations including Working Woman, Boston Business Journal, Women's Business, and Entrepreneur. Prior to starting Experience, Jennifer was a management consultant with Bain and Company. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

Join Sun in their Personal Care/Toiletry Drive for Local Agencies

In recognition of National Women's History Month, Sun Microsystems' Boston area employees are conducting a personal care/toiletry drive to provide support to local women in need.

WITI-Boston members are invited to participate in this drive with Sun by bringing personal care items to the March 8th meeting at Sun's Burlington campus. Agencies supported thru this drive are: People Helping People (MA),Community Teamwork(MA), and Bridges (NH).

Items Requested include Personal sized/trial sized items:
-Shampoo/conditioner
-Mouthwash, toothpaste, tooth brushes
-Disposable razors, deodorant
-Shower gel, soap, hand & body lotions

Bring your items to the March 8th meeting at Sunand drop off at designated boxes in the registration area.
