
Andrea Wallin-Rohmann is the Chief Deputy Director of Policy at the California Department of Technology, accepting that appointment in January 2014. Prior to that, she had spent 19 of her 24 years of State service in multiple positions at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, including deputy director of human resources, chief information officer, project director of the business information system, special assistant to the deputy director of the financial services division and administrative assistant to the director of internal affairs. Ms. Wallin-Rohmann also held civil service appointments at the California Franchise Tax Board and the California Department of Personnel Administration. She earned a Master of Arts degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's of Science degree in business administration from California State University, Sacramento.
Jason, a principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP, leads the State of California Practice and brings a depth of experience and passion for helping government develop and implement strategies for large-scale transformation. Jason oversees a team of more than 500 professionals who are working with state and local agencies and higher education to improve the delivery of services and benefits to organizations, individuals, and families. In his 18 years at Deloitte, Jason has served in a variety of leadership roles across a number of industries, most recently as a Board Council member on the Deloitte U.S. Board of Directors.
Valerie has over 30 years of experience in the technology field, holding a variety of roles in most aspects of IT, with over 20 years in technology management. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada). Her prior work experience includes the insurance, banking, propane and food industries, in Canada, Australia and USA. In 1989, Valerie joined VSP in Sacramento and has advanced her career with VSP over the last 25 years.
Mr. Benton is a Managing Director in KPMG's Advisory Services practice, with over eighteen years of experience helping organizations (public, quasi-governmental, and non-profit) improve their operations, organizational structure, information technology, and financial results. He is skilled in providing leadership, vision, and management to project teams, helping them tackle unique challenges. He has considerable experience implementing and overseeing large-scale IT systems, as well as in cost/benefit analysis, policy and program development, strategic planning, process reengineering, and organizational transformation.
