Anna Brannen
Deputy Secretary of Policy, California Technology Agency

Anna Brannen was appointed by the Governor as Deputy Secretary for Policy at the California Technology Agency on August 19, 2011. Prior to her appointment, Anna was the California State Board of Equalization’s (BOE) Chief Information Officer. She was responsible for developing and managing BOE’s strategic vision and plans for information technology (IT), and for the daily operations of the Technology Services Department and BOE’s IT systems. Prior to BOE, Anna was a Deputy Director at the Office of Technology Services (OTech), responsible for data center consolidation efforts. Before her tenure at OTech, Anna was an analyst at the Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO), where she advised the Legislature on budget and policy issues related to the state’s IT, procurement, homeland security, and emergency response. Prior to LAO, Anna worked for over 20 years in high-level positions at various departments within state government. Anna has a BA in psychology and attended the MBA programs at California State University, Sacramento and the University of California Riverside.

Roy Mathew
Principal, Deloitte

Roy Mathew is a partner in Deloitte's Technology Strategy practice focused on IT Transformation, Shared Services and Cost Reduction across various Public and Private Sector organizations. He has provided a wide range of IT services to clients in the High Tech, Media, Healthcare, Financial Services, Consumer Business and Public Sector industries. He is actively involved in developing the firm's capabilities in IT transformation, business process reengineering, and operational performance improvement. He has presented at numerous conferences and events on these topics. Roy holds a Master's degree in Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
