Patricia M. Flynn, Ph.D.
Dean, McCallum Graduate School of Business, and Professor of Economics, Bentley College

Ms. Flynn joined the Bentley faculty in 1976 and has been Dean since 1992. (www.Bentley.edu) The McCallum Graduate School of Business has over 1,400 students enrolled in the MBA and nine specialized Master of Science degree programs. The McCallum part-time MBA is ranked 20th in the country by U.S. News & World Reports; the McCallum Graduate School is also listed in the top 25 Techno-MBA programs by Computer World. Dean Flynn is also responsible for all executive and professional education programs at Bentley.

Dean Flynn is a nationally recognized expert on the effects of technology on jobs, workers and communities, and on women in business. Her publications include Technology Life Cycles and Human Resources and Turbulence in the American Workplace. Her work has been cited in The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Business Week, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and on The Today Show. She has served as chair of the Advisory Committee of the annual Index of the Massachusetts Innovation Economy since its inception in 1997 (available at www. mtpc.org).

Dean Flynn has been a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, a research fellow at the Bunting Institute at Radcliffe College, and a senior research associate at the New England Board of Higher Education. She is currently: a director of Boston Fed Bancorp, Inc. and its subsidiaries the Boston Federal Savings Bank and Broadway National Bank; a director of the Massachusetts Technology Park Corporation; a trustee of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation; and a corporator of the New England Baptist Hospital. She serves on the Innovation and Technology Committee of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, and is active in The Boston Club, the Financial Women's Association (FWA) and Women in Technology International (WITI).

Dean Flynn received her bachelor's degree in economics from Emmanuel College, and a master's degree and Ph.D. in economics from Boston University. She has an honorary degree in Humane Letters from Emmanuel College.

JENNIFER OPENSHAW
Founder, Women's Financial Network (WFN at Siebert)

Jennifer Openshaw broke new ground when she founded Women's Financial Network, now WFN at Siebert, in 1999 -- and a trendsetter in the industry. Her work as CEO and Chairman in building WFN into a nationally recognized entity won her industry accolades and recognition as one of the 25 Rising Stars by Internet World magazine and a "Silicon Valley Mover & Shaker" by the San Jose Mercury News.

Jennifer is also author of "What's Your Net Worth?" designed to help women save time, make money, and increase their confidence about financial matters. Her PBS show, also called "What's Your Net Worth?," will air nationwide this March.

Jennifer is the eldest of three children of a single mother who worked two full-time jobs as a waitress to support the family. While her mother worked, Jennifer raised her two younger brothers and worked on various projects from age 8 to bring in extra money. She took on her first "real" job as a maid in a motel at age 14.

Before launching WFN, Jennifer served as Director of Investment Services for Wilshire Associates, one of the nation's largest investment consulting firms. During her tenure, she launched the Wilshire 5000 Index Mutual Fund, converted the Wilshire 5000 Index into a real-time stock index, and formed a strategic alliance with CNBC, which now utilizes the Wilshire 5000 Index as a regular feature of its financial programming. She has also held positions with Bank of America and the California State Treasurer's Office.

Jennifer is also a nationally known financial commentator for Lifetime Television, CBS MarketWatch and CNN. She has appeared on numerous shows, including CNBC's "Power Lunch," and has been featured in Fortune Small Business, Business2.0, Business Week, San Francisco Chronicle, the Washington Times, and the San Jose Mercury News.

A former Rotary Scholar in Australia, Jennifer holds an MBA and BA from UCLA and serves on the Advisory Board of Wyndham Hotels. Dale Kaiser
Attorney for Estate and Family Business Planning and Estate Administration

Attorney Kaiser concentrates in Estate and Family Business Planning and Estate Administration. In her practice, she helps clients plan to protect their families in the event of their deaths including minimizing the impact of taxes on the family members. She works closely with individuals and their families and advisors to design and implement a plan which distributes assets in a manner which meets that family's goals and minimizes estate, gift and generation skipping taxes at the same time.

Ms. Kaiser has been practicing for eighteen years, eleven years of which were estate planning, probate and family business planning experience at large Boston firms. Now, in her own practice, she gives clients personal attention and service.

She designs plans for clients which can include some or all of the following: wills, durable powers of attorney, health care proxies, revocable and irrevocable trusts, charitable vehicles and gifting programs. In addition, her practice includes business succession planning, estate and trust administration and probate court matters such as guardianships and contested matters.

Ms. Kaiser is admitted to practice in both New York and Massachusetts and is a member of the New York State, Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations. She is a member of the Probate and Taxation Sections and the Estate Planning Committee of the Boston Bar Association, the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Norfolk and Plymouth Estate Planning Council. Ms. Kaiser is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Needham Education Foundation.

Ms. Kaiser has appeared as an estate planning guest expert on several local radio shows and has been quoted on estate planning topics in local newspapers and Fidelity Focus magazine.

Catherine Friend White
President, FinArc, LLC Investment Management

Catherine is the founder and senior portfolio manager of FinArc, LLC Investment Management. FinArc manages portfolios for individuals, corporate retirement accounts, and foundations. She was formerly the portfolio manager/analyst for the Growth and Income mutual fund of International Heritage, where she was a partner. She has over 23 years of money management experience. She is a member of the board of directors of BostonFed Bancorp, and their two subsidiary banks, Boston Federal Savings Bank and Broadway National Bank. She has been interviewed on CNBC and CNN, and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Money Magazine, and other publications. Catherine holds an MBA from the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and a BA from Dickinson College.

Ms. White has done numerous other television and radio shows. She has been quoted in the national media, including The Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe and Money Magazine.
